A four-tier support & education system

Developed with expertise. Our education and resources are being shaped with input from people and organisations experienced in bereavement support, so that what we offer is safe, age-appropriate, and grounded in good practice.

Important: S'port for Grief is not a clinical, counselling, therapy, or emergency service. We are a sport-based social enterprise helping clubs and communities become more grief-aware, supportive, and connected. For clinical support, we signpost to the specialist organisations listed in our support directory.

In development

The Grief Aware Club pilot

We're piloting what it looks like for a club to become genuinely grief-aware — coaches and committee members trained, clear signposting in place, and a club culture that knows how to respond when grief touches a player, family or volunteer.

Who it's for

Sports clubs of any code who want their coaches and committee to feel confident responding to grief, and to be listed on our growing Club Aware Map.

What's involved

Grief-aware training for key club figures, access to our resource hub, and ongoing connection with S'port for Grief as the pilot develops. (Detail to be confirmed as the pilot rolls out.)
